Oh, I'm sure he must have been on something. What's with the mind games that god seems to like to play anyway? Good question. Sounds like the people who had control over the Bible over the years liked to insert things and twist them. It's just a book of fables anyway. IMO.

I don't believe in God, Heaven, Satan, or Hell as the Bible explains them. Satan is all the negative aspects inside all of us, and God is all of the positive aspects inside all of us. That is how I believe them to be as the only prayers that ever got answered were answered by the acts of people, not superhuman beings. I miss being able to blame the devil for my mistakes. Jesus? A great person like Ghandi and Buddha. Great guy!

i have not celebrated easter in over 17 years.
what a relief to be able to enjoy the worship of jesus and to be so grateful and thankful for his sacrafice.

I plan on making baskets for my kids for Ostara. This will be our first "Easter." I'm the pagan one but want them to experience Easter as other kids do at school. I guess I'm trying to make up for or catch up on what I missed growing up and how I saw Easter as a kid. I want that for them.

but none of us were allowed to consider as a possibility the other person's arguments.
our job was to turn their minds around but the people on the other side made more sense than i did.

Our job was to turn their minds around but the people on the other side made more sense than I did. I was really bad at the doors because they could refute me so easily and I guess I never really believed in what I was saying to them. Questions that always came into my mind were How could I expect them to take and read our literature but I could not accept or read theirs? I felt so hippocritical doing that. They offered their literature to us when they came to our doors and we refused (shoe on other foot.) but when we went to their doors, we expected and pushed them to take ours. I really felt a COC with that all through the 37 years I was in.
